DRIVE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FS5A-EL]

CAUTION:
- Parts for engines manufactured in Mexico and Hiroshima cannot be used interchangeably as the engine will not operate correctly resulting in a serious malfunction. To prevent this, when replacing parts refer to the 'VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) CODE' table below and verify the engine's place of manufacture before performing the servicing. 1. Remove the transaxle. Automatic Transaxle Removal/Installation [FS5A-EL]

2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










3. Install in the reverse order of removal

Drive Plate Installation Bolts Removal Note

1. Set the SST against the drive plate.






2. Loosen the drive plate installation bolts in two or three steps in the order as shown in the figure, then remove the bolts and the drive plate.

2. Tighten the drive plate mounting bolts in two or three steps in the order as shown in the figure.

Tightening torque
- 108-116 Nm {11.1-11.8 kgf-m, 80-85 ft-lbf}
