Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

ENGINE AIR CLEANER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 2.3L

1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the engine air cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe from the air cleaner outlet.Tightening torque:3 Nm {0.3 kgf-m, 27 in-lbf}

2. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.

NOTE:Pry the engine air cleaner from the base.Remove the engine air cleaner assembly.

NOTE:Clean the engine air cleaner with a dry, clean cloth.To install, reverse the removal procedure.
