Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed): Service and Repair

IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 2.3L1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See
Procedures.
2. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolts and the IAC valve and discard the gasket.
4.
NOTE:Install a new IAC valve gasket.To install, reverse the removal procedure.
