Intake Air Duct: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - 2.3L

1. Disconnect the battery. See Procedures.

2. Remove the accelerator control splash shield.

3. Disconnect the electrical harness push pins, the brake booster vacuum hose and the crankcase ventilation tube quick connect coupling.

4. Loosen the 2 hose clamps and the air cleaner outlet pipe.Tightening torque:3 Nm {0.3 kgf-m, 27 in-lbf}

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
