Power Liftgate (PLG) Touch Sensor Removal/Installation




POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) TOUCH SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Liftgate upper trim (See .)

b. PLG arm (See Power Liftgate (PLG) Drive Unit Removal/Installation.)

c. Liftgate side trim (See .)

d. Liftgate lower trim (See .)

3. Disconnect the PLG touch sensor connector.






4. Remove the screws.

5. Remove the PLG touch sensor.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
