Braking Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

BRAKE PEDAL POSITION (BPP) SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

CAUTION:Do not press or pull on the brake pedal when installing or removing the brake pedal position (BPP) switch, otherwise damage to the BPP switch can occur.
1. Disconnect the BPP switch electrical connector.

2. Rotate the BPP switch clockwise approximately one-eighth turn and remove the BPP switch.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
