Transaxle LH Support Insulator Removal/Installation




TRANSAXLE LH SUPPORT INSULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION










1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See Lifting.

2. Remove the air cleaner. See - Service and Repair or - Service and Repair.






3. Using the special tool, support the engine.

4. Remove the 4 LH transaxle support insulator bolts.

- To install, tighten to 48 Nm {4.8 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf}.

5. Remove the through bolt and the LH transaxle support insulator.

- To install, tighten to 103 Nm {10.3 kgf-m, 76 ft-lbf}.

6. Remove the 3 nuts and the LH transaxle support insulator bracket.

- To install, tighten to 40 Nm {4.0 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
