Spark Plug: Service and Repair

SPARK PLUGS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 3.0L

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the air cleaner. See - Service and Repair.

2. Remove the spark plugs.

- Tighten to 15 Nm {1.5 kgf-m, 133 in-lbf}.

CAUTION:Only use hand tools when removing or installing the spark plugs, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or spark plug.
NOTE:Use compressed air to remove any foreign material in the spark plug well prior to removing the spark plugs.
3. Inspect the spark plugs. See Testing and Inspection.






4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- Adjust the gap as necessary.
