Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.5L

1. Disconnect the accelerator pedal electrical connector.

2. Remove the 3 bolts and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.

- To install, tighten to 7 Nm {7.0 kgf-m, 62 in-lbf}.

3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:The accelerator pedal bracket and bolts on the 2.5L and 3.0L vehicles are similar but not interchangeable with the 2.5L Hybrid vehicles.
