Wiper Pivot: Adjustments

WINDSHIELD WIPER BLADE AND PIVOT ARM ADJUSTMENT

1. Cycle and park the windshield wipers.






2. Verify that the RH and LH wiper blades are located at the specified position.

3. If not within specification, remove the nuts and the windshield wiper pivot arms and reposition them to the correct locations.

- To install, tighten to 40 Nm {4.0 kgf-m, 30 ft-lbf}.

NOTE:Make sure there is no mechanical binding in the linkage preventing the wiper arms from returning to the fully parked position.
