1. Align the tabs of the friction damper and thrust washer and assemble.

2. Measure the dimension A as shown in the figure.
^ If not within the specification, select a suitable thrust washer from the table below so that the dimension is within the specification.

Reverse idler gear component dimension:
57.225 - 57.275 mm (2.2529 - 2.2549 in)
