Sliding Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair




REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover. Removal and Replacement

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove the following parts:
a. Remove the side door garnish Side Door Garnish Removal/Installation

b. Remove the rear side trim Rear Side Trim Removal/Installation

c. Sliding door trim Sliding Door Trim Removal/Installation

d. Sliding door glass Sliding Door Glass Removal/Installation

e. Rear power window motor Service and Repair

4. Remove the nuts.






5. Insert a hand through the service hole, rotate the drum housing in the direction shown in the figure and disengage the tabs from the sliding door module panel.






6. Take the rear power window regulator out through the service hole.






7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Make sure the cable does not unspool from the drum housing when installing.
