Power Steering Pressure Switch: Testing and Inspection

POWER STEERING PRESSURE (PSP) SWITCH INSPECTION [MZR 2.5]

1. Inspect the following if the power steering is inoperative: Testing and Inspection

- Power steering fluid level
- Power steering fluid leakage
- Power steering fluid pressure

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

3. Disconnect the PSP switch connector.

4. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

5. Start the engine.

6. Inspect for continuity between PSP switch terminal A and body ground.






- If not as specified, replace the PSP switch. Overhaul
