FOREWORD [AW6A-EL, AW6AX-EL]

- When the customer reports a vehicle malfunction, inspect the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illumination, AT warning light illumination, and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC), and then diagnose the malfunction according to the following flowchart.

- If a DTC exists, diagnose the applicable DTC inspection. Automatic Transmission/Transaxle - DTC Table AW6A-EL
- If a DTC does not exist, the MIL does not illuminates and the AT warning light illuminates, diagnose the applicable symptom troubleshooting. Automatic Transmission/Transaxle - DTC Table AW6A-EL
