Hazard Warning Switch: Service and Repair

HAZARD WARNING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the following parts:
a. Front scuff plate Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

b. Front side trim Front Side Trim Removal/Installation

c. Rear console Rear Console Removal/Installation

d. Side wall Side Wall Removal/Installation

e. Shift lever knob (MTX) Service and Repair

f. Front console component Front Console Component Removal/Installation

g. Glove compartment Service and Repair

h. Lower panel Lower Panel Removal/Installation

i. Center panel unit Center Panel Unit Removal/Installation

3. Remove the hazard warning switch in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the tabs in the direction of the arrow (1).






4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
