Auxiliary Input / Output Jack: Testing and Inspection





AUXILIARY JACK INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the center console box. Center Console Box Removal/Installation

3. Remove the console panel. Console Panel Removal/Installation

4. Remove the auxiliary jack. Service and Repair

5. Connect a commercially-available nonresistant plug to the auxiliary jack.






6. Verify that the continuity between the auxiliary jack terminals is as indicated in the table.






- If not as indicated in the table, replace the auxiliary jack.
