OIL SEAL (DIFFERENTIAL) REPLACEMENT [G66M-R]

1. Remove the aerodynamic under cover and the splash shield as a single unit. Service and Repair Service and Repair

2. Drain the manual transaxle oil. Manual Transaxle Oil Replacement

3. Disconnect the drive shaft (LH) from the MTX. Drive Shaft Removal/Installation

4. Disconnect the drive shaft (RH) from the joint shaft. Drive Shaft Removal/Installation

5. Remove the joint shaft. Joint Shaft Removal/Installation

6. Remove the oil seals using a flathead screwdriver.






7. Using the SST and a hammer, tap a new oil seal (LH) in evenly until the SST contacts the transaxle case.






8. Using the SST and a hammer, tap a new oil seal (RH) in evenly until the SST contacts the clutch housing.

9. Coat the lip of each oil seal with manual transaxle oil.

10. Install in the reverse order of removal.

11. Add the specified amount of specified transaxle oil. Manual Transaxle Oil Replacement
