Variable Induction Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

VARIABLE TUMBLE SHUTTER VALVE POSITION SENSOR INSPECTION [MZR 2.5]

NOTE:
- The variable tumble shutter valve position sensor cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the variable tumble shutter valve position sensor, replace it together with the intake manifold as a single unit.

1. Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.






2. Switch the ignition to ON.

3. Verify that the variable tumble shutter valve position sensor output voltage (PID: IMRC_POS) within the specification. (See. On-Board Diagnostic Test) Component Tests and General Diagnostics

- If not as specified, replace the intake manifold. Service and Repair
