Backup Lamp: Service and Repair

INBOARD LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the recess. Recess Removal/Installation

3. Partially peel back the trunk rid trim.

4. Disconnect the inboard light connector, then remove the nuts and brackets.






5. Remove the inboard light as shown in the figure.






6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inboard Light Installation Note

1. Insert the inboard light into the trunk lid as shown in the figure, then pivot it inward and fix in place.






2. Push the bracket onto the trunk lid as shown in the figure and install.
