Transfer Case Fluid Cooler: Service and Repair

TRANSFER OIL COOLER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [AW6AX-EL]

1. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the transfer side. Service and Repair

2. Drain the engine coolant. Service and Repair

3. Drain the transfer oil into a suitable container. Service and Repair

4. Remove in the order indicated in the figure.

5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

6. Perform the following procedure, if the transfer has been overhauled and installed to the vehicle.
a. After warming up the engine, drive the vehicle and inspect for oil leakage and abnormal noise.
