Power Door Lock Actuator: Service and Repair





DOOR LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Position the door glass so that the distance between the top of the front door glass and top of the front beltline molding is 110 mm {4.33 in}.






2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

3. Remove the following parts:
a. Door trim Door Trim Removal/Installation

b. Door speaker Door Speaker Removal/Installation

c. Inner handle Service and Repair

d. Door module panel Door Module Panel Removal/Installation

e. Door glass Service and Repair

4. Detach the rods from the key cylinder and the outer handle.

5. Remove the screws, then remove the door latch and lock actuator.






6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
