Seat Position Sensor: Service and Repair

SEAT TRACK POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

2. Remove the battery cover.

3. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait for 1 min or more. Removal and Replacement

4. Remove the driver's seat. Removal and Replacement

5. Detach the tab as shown in the figure and remove the connector from the seat connector.






6. Remove the screw.






7. Remove the seat track position sensor.

8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Seat Track Position Sensor Installation Note

- Verify that the seat track position sensor is not contacting the metal plate.
