RFW Lock solenoid valve circuit failure

DETECTION CONDITION

•  Circuit malfunction has been detected in the Lock solenoid valve.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

•  Lock solenoid valve malfunction

•  PCM malfunction

Diagnostic procedure

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	INSPECT LOCK SOLENOID VALVE • Turn the engine switch off. • Remove the Lock solenoid valve. • Inspect the Lock solenoid valve. (See LOCK AND FREE SOLENOID VALVES INSPECTION.) • Is there any malfunction?	Yes	Replace the Lock solenoid valve, then go to the next step.
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P1812 COMPLETED • Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors. • Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the M-MDS. • Start the engine. • Shift the transfer select lever. • Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [WL-C, WE-C].) (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (U.K. Specs.) [WL-C, WE-C].)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE • Perform the “After Repair Procedure“. (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE [WL-C, WE-C (Thailand, General (L.H.D. R.H.D.) specs.)].) (See AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE [WL-C, WE-C (Australian, European (L.H.D. U.K.) specs.)].) • Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [WL-C, WE-C (Thailand, General (L.H.D. R.H.D.) specs.)].) (See DTC TABLE [WL-C, WE-C (Australian, European (L.H.D. U.K.) specs.)].)
3		No	Troubleshooting completed.
