HEATER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [WLT-1, WLT-2, WL-3].)(See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [WL-C, WE-C].)

3.  Remove the cooling unit. (With A/C) (See COOLING UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the air duct. (Without A/C)

5.  Remove the dashboard. (See DASHBOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove the dashboard member. (See DASHBOARD MEMBER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	Heater hose
2	Nut
3	Heater unit

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
