1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 15 seconds or more.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool for DTC B130C[07] being set as a current failure. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch harness connector inspection.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of SRS control.
Refer to "209.Restraints 22D.Symptom Intermittent conditions of SRS control".
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 15 seconds or more.
2) Inspect for poor connections at the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch harness connector (pins 1 and 2 of B70). Is the connection status normal?
Refer to "RHD SRS airbag (Driver/Passenger/Side/Curtain/Knee/Far Side)" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).
Yes
=>Go to Passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch internal circuit inspection.
No
Repair the connections as necessary.
1) Disconnect the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch harness connector (B70).
2) Connect a fused jumper wire between the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (+) input circuit (pin 2 of B70) and the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (-) input circuit (pin 1 of B70).
Refer to "RHD SRS airbag (Driver/Passenger/Side/Curtain/Knee/Far Side)" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is DTC B130D[07] set?
Yes
Replace the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch.

No
1) Inspect the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (+) input circuit between the SRS control unit (pin 18 of R6) and the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (pin 2 of B70) for the following. Is the result normal?
Refer to "RHD SRS airbag (Driver/Passenger/Side/Curtain/Knee/Far Side)" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).
Yes
=>Go to Inspection for open circuit in passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (-) input circuit.
No
Repair the circuit as necessary.
1) Inspect the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (-) input circuit between the SRS control unit (pin 17 of R6) and the passenger side SRS airbag cut off switch (pin 1 of B70) for an open circuit or high resistance. Is the result normal?
Refer to "RHD SRS airbag (Driver/Passenger/Side/Curtain/Knee/Far Side)" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).
Yes
=>Go to SRS control unit harness connector inspection.
No
Repair the circuit as necessary.
1) Inspect for poor connections at the SRS control unit harness connector (pins 17 and 18 of R6). Is the result normal?
