1. DTC C0040[12] description
The wireless access module monitors the operation status of the stoplight switch.
If the wireless access module detects that the stoplight switch is ON continuously while the vehicle is running, the DTC is set.
Note
- Although this DTC is set, the engine can be started using emergency starting.
2. Condition for setting DTC C0040[12]
- The wireless access module detects that the stoplight switch is ON continuously for 15 minutes while the vehicle is running at 15 km/h {9 mph} or more.
3. Action taken when DTC C0040[12] sets
When the engine start/stop button is pressed:
- The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
- CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
- The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.
When the power mode is ON and there is a current failure:
- The key monitor warning light illuminates.
When door locking/unlocking is requested:
- The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
- CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
- The external buzzer will sound for 3 seconds.
