DTC B1089[A2] Battery Voltage Low (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B1089[A2] description

The wireless access module monitors the battery power supply voltage and verifies that the voltage is within the appropriate range. If the wireless access module detects that the battery power supply voltage is excessively low, the DTC is set.

Note

  • Although this DTC is set, the engine can be started using emergency starting.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1089[A2]

Any of the following are met:

  • When the request switch is pressed and the conditions for the door lock are met, the wireless access module detects that the battery power supply voltage is less than 10 V.
  • When the engine start/stop button is pressed and the power mode turns ON, the wireless access module detects that the battery power supply voltage is less than 10 V.

3. Action taken when DTC B1089[A2] sets

  • The wireless access module inhibits door locking operations by way of the request switch.
