DTC B1E10[02] Assistant Door LF Antenna Signal Failure (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B1E10[02] description

The external antenna is installed in the outside handle. When the request switch is pressed, the wireless access module sends the ID code request to the electronic key via the external antenna for electronic key authentication. If the wireless access module detects a malfunction in the passenger side external antenna circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1E10[02]

  • The wireless access module detects a malfunction in the passenger side external antenna circuit 5 consecutive times.

3. Action taken when DTC B1E0F[02] sets

When the engine start/stop button is pressed:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • The engine start/stop button indicator light (amber) flashes for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.

When the power mode is ON and there is a current failure:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates.

When door locking/unlocking is requested:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • The engine start/stop button indicator light (amber) flashes for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The external buzzer will sound for 3 seconds.
