DTC P07B2[62] Parking Position Signal Mismatch (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC P07B2[62] description

The wireless access module can switch the vehicle engine start-up conditions by programming the transmission specifications. For models equipped with automatic transmissions, starting the engine is possible when the selector lever is in the P or N position and the brake pedal is depressed. If the wireless access module detects that the parking switch signal and P/N position switch signal do not match, the DTC is set.

Note

  • Although this DTC is set, the engine can be started using emergency starting.

2. Condition for setting DTC P07B2[62]

  • The wireless access module detects that the parking switch signal and P/N position switch signal do not match for 5 seconds.

3. Action taken when DTC P07B2[62] sets

When the engine start/stop button is pressed:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.

When the power mode is ON and there is a current failure:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates.

When door locking/unlocking is requested:

  • The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
  • CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
  • The external buzzer will sound for 3 seconds.
