DTC B1088[A2] ECU Supply Voltage (Voltage Low) (Central GateWay)

1. Body control system check

Refer to "64.Body Control 10I.Troubleshooting(Central GateWay) diagnostic system check - central gateway controls".

2. Current DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Fuse inspection.

No

Go to Intermittent conditions of body control system.

Refer to "223.Body Control 36D.Symptom(Central GateWay) intermittent conditions of body control system".

3. Fuse inspection

1) Inspect the CGW(+B) 5A fuse for a blowout. Is the result normal?

Yes

=>Go to Battery power supply circuit voltage check.

No

Replace the fuse. If the fuse blows out again, repair the short to ground in the circuits relating to the fuse.

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Battery power supply circuit voltage check

1) Disconnect the central gateway control unit harness connector (B41).

2) Measure the voltage between the battery power supply circuit (pin 32 of B41) and the body ground with a DMM. Is the voltage more than or equal to the specified value?

Refer to "LHD Controller Area Network (Central Gateway C/U)" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Controller Area Network (Central Gateway C/U (4JJ3 with DPD))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Controller Area Network (Central Gateway C/U (4JJ3 without DPD, RZ4E))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Value: 12 V

Yes

=>Go to Central gateway control unit harness connector inspection.

No

Repair the open circuit or high resistance in the battery power supply circuit between the CGW(+B) 5A fuse and the central gateway control unit (pin 32 of B41).

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. Central gateway control unit harness connector inspection

1) Inspect for poor connections at the central gateway control unit harness connector (pin 32 of B41). Is the connection status normal?

Refer to "LHD Controller Area Network (Central Gateway C/U)" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Controller Area Network (Central Gateway C/U (4JJ3 with DPD))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Controller Area Network (Central Gateway C/U (4JJ3 without DPD, RZ4E))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Yes

=>Go to Central gateway control unit replacement.
