DTC B1316[11] TPMS Set Switch Circuit Short to Ground (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. DTC B1316[11] description

The TPMS load selector switch is installed to the instrument panel on the driver side. The wireless access module detects the rear body unloaded or loaded from the TPMS load selector switch signal, and changes the specified value of the proper air pressure. The TPMS load selector switch is a momentary type switch which switches between ON and OFF each time the switch is pressed by the driver. If the wireless access module detects a short to ground in the TPMS load selector switch signal circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B1316[11]

  • The wireless access module detects a short to ground in the TPMS load selector switch signal circuit for 3 minutes or more.

3. Action taken when DTC B1316[11] sets

  • The tire air pressure specified value is set as the specified value for the loaded vehicle.
