DTC B0073[12] Pretensioner(Rear Left) Circuit Short to Battery Voltage (Air Bag (Driver/Passenger/Side/Roof/Knee/Far Side))

1. DTC B0073[12] description

When the ignition switch is turned ON, the SRS control unit performs diagnosis to determine whether serious malfunctions have occurred within the control unit. If the internal function is determined to be normal, the ignition voltage and the deployment circuit voltage are measured in order to verify that they are within the normal range. The SRS control unit measures the voltage of the rear left side pretensioner ignition current output circuit. If the SRS control unit detects a short to the power supply in the rear left side pretensioner circuit, the DTC is set.
