1. DTC U1301[88] description
The TCCM and transfer actuator communicate the control information and diagnosis information via the 250 kbps CAN communication circuit. The TCCM monitors the CAN communication status by receiving a predetermined quantity of messages from each sensor. If the TCCM receives a CAN Bus OFF status, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC U1301[88]
Condition for running the DTC
- The ignition voltage is 10 to 16 V.
Condition for setting the DTC
- After the conditions for setting a DTC are met, the TCCM detects a CAN Bus OFF status.
3. Action taken when DTC U1301[88] sets
- The TCCM illuminates the check 4WD warning light when the diagnostic runs and fails.
- If the DTC is set while the shift-on-the-fly actuator is stopped, the TCCM maintains the stop status of the shift-on-the-fly actuator.
- If the DTC is set while the shift-on-the-fly actuator is driven, the TCCM continues the drive control until the conditions for stopping the shift-on-the-fly actuator drive are met.
