1. DTC P0830[17] description
The wireless access module monitors the operation status of the clutch switch by driving the clutch high side circuit at predetermined intervals while the power mode is OFF or ACC. For models equipped with manual transmissions, the clutch switch signal input is used for engine start-up control. If the wireless access module detects a malfunction in the drive circuit when the clutch high side circuit is commanded ON, the DTC is set.
Note
- Although this DTC is set, the engine can be started using emergency starting.
2. Condition for setting DTC P0830[17]
- When the clutch high side circuit is commanded ON, the wireless access module detects a malfunction in the drive circuit.
3. Action taken when DTC P0830[17] sets
When the engine start/stop button is pressed:
- The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
- CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
- The buzzer built into the instrument panel cluster will sound 3 times.
When the power mode is ON:
- The key monitor warning light illuminates.
When door locking/unlocking is requested:
- The key monitor warning light illuminates for 10 seconds.
- CHECK SYSTEM will be displayed on the multi-information display for 10 seconds.
- The external buzzer will sound for 3 seconds.
