DTC P0830[17] Clutch Switch Overvoltage Detection (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Hi-version[Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Inspection for short circuit in clutch high side circuit

1) Inspect the clutch high side circuit between the wireless access module (pin 8 of B14) and the clutch switch (pin 1 of C70) for the following. Is the result normal?

  • Short to the power supply circuit
  • Short to ground

Refer to "LHD Power Door Locks (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Power Door Locks (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Yes

=>Go to Wireless access module harness connector inspection.

No

Repair the circuit as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

3. Wireless access module harness connector inspection

1) Inspect for poor connections at the wireless access module harness connector (pin 8 of B14). Is the connection status normal?

Refer to "LHD Power Door Locks (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Power Door Locks (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version))" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Yes

=>Go to Wireless access module replacement.

No

Repair the connections as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Wireless access module replacement

Note

  • After replacing the wireless access module, programming must be performed.

1) Turn ON the ignition switch.
