DTC B1E0E[A2] Electronic Key Battery Voltage Low (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

Note

  • When a DTC is set, if multiple electronic keys are in the vehicle, always perform the electronic key inspection one key at a time.

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Hi-version[Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Electronic key battery replacement

1) Replace the electronic key battery.

Procedure completion

=>Go to Electronic key inspection.

3. Electronic key inspection

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Check the multi-information display. Is LOW BATTERY ELECTRONIC KEY displayed on the multi-information display?

Yes

Replace the electronic key.

Note

  • After replacing the electronic key, write the electronic key ID to the wireless access module.
  • When replacing the electronic key, it is necessary to erase any electronic key information before replacing.

Caution

  • Because all electronic key information will be erased by performing Erase Electronic Key, it is necessary to reprogram any remaining electronic keys and program any new electronic keys.

4. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

  • Turn the ignition switch ON and OFF 10 times or more.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
