Refer to "64.Body Control 10I.Troubleshooting(BCM) diagnostic system check-body controls".
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch.
3) Observe the following parameters on the scan tool while opening and closing each door repeatedly. Do all parameters match the door opening/closing operation?
Yes
No (Normally ON)

No (Normally OFF)

1) Visually inspect the door (near the door switch) for abnormal conditions such as dents or damage. Is the result normal?
Yes
The system is normal.
No
Repair as necessary.
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Disconnect the door switch harness connector.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the door switch parameter on the scan tool. Does the door switch parameter show OFF?
Yes
Replace the door switch.

No
=>Go to Inspection for short circuit in door switch signal circuit.
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Disconnect the BCM harness connector (B19).
3) Inspect there is no continuity between the following terminals and the body ground with a DMM. Is the result normal?

Repair the short to ground in the signal circuit between the BCM and the door switch.
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Remove the door switch.
3) Inspect for continuity between each door switch connector terminal and the metal section of the door switch back surface with a DMM. Is the result normal?

Repair the circuit as necessary.
1) Inspect for poor connections at the BCM harness connector (pins 5, 6, 7, and 14 of B19). Is the connection status normal?
