1. DTC B1053[03] description
If the BCM detects the SRS deployment signal from the SRS control unit, the door lock is released automatically. If the BCM receives an invalid signal from the SRS control unit, the DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC B1053[03]
Condition for running the DTC
- The ignition switch is ON.
Condition for setting the DTC
- The BCM receives an invalid signal from the SRS control unit for 2 seconds or more.
3. Action taken when DTC B1053[03] sets
- Impact Sensing Door Unlock function becomes available only when the unlock request signal from the SRS is received via the CAN communication circuit.
- Current and past failures are set.
