Refer to "64.Body Control 10I.Troubleshooting(BCM) diagnostic system check-body controls".
1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch.
3) Observe the SRS Signal Input (M06-15) parameter on the scan tool.
An indication other than Deployed is displayed.
=>Go to Inspection for open circuit in SRS airbag deployment signal circuit.
Deployed is displayed.
Check the SRS control unit DTC, and go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
1) Disconnect the following harness connector.
2) Inspect the SRS airbag deployment signal circuit between the BCM (pin 15 of B19) and the SRS control unit (Models with side airbags and curtain airbags: pin 4 of B9; Except models with side airbags and curtain airbags: pin 22 of B8) for an open circuit or high resistance. Is the result normal?
