Refer to "64.Body Control 10I.Troubleshooting(BCM) diagnostic system check-body controls".
1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Operate the windshield wiper switch to all the positions.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Prioritized DTC check.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of body control system.
Refer to "223.Body Control 36D.Symptom(BCM) intermittent conditions of body control system".
1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is DTC B1706[98], B1706[A2], or B1706[A3] set at the same time?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
Refer to "64.Body Control 10I.Troubleshooting(BCM) DTC B1706[A2] Front Wiper Output Circuit System Voltage Low".

=>Go to Wiper motor harness connector inspection.
1) Inspect for poor connections at the wiper motor harness connector (pin 2, 3, and 4 of C42). Is the connection status normal?

Repair the connections as necessary.
1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Operate the windshield wiper switch to all the positions.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
