1. DTC C053C[16] description
The wheel speed sensor converts the tire rotation into a pulse signal. The EHCU calculates the wheel speed according to the pulse signal from the wheel speed sensor. If the EHCU detects a low voltage in the wheel speed sensor power supply circuit, this DTC is set.
2. Condition for setting DTC C053C[16]
Condition for running the DTC
- The ignition switch is ON.
- The EHCU ignition power supply voltage is 10 to 16 V.
Condition for setting the DTC
Any of the following are met:
- The EHCU detects that the power supply voltage in the front left wheel speed sensor decreases for 60 seconds when the battery power supply is less than 6.7 V.
- The EHCU detects the that power supply voltage in the front right wheel speed sensor decreases for 60 seconds when the battery power supply is less than 6.7 V.
- The EHCU detects that the power supply voltage in the rear left wheel speed sensor decreases for 60 seconds when the battery power supply is less than 6.7 V.
- The EHCU detects that the power supply voltage in the rear right wheel speed sensor decreases for 60 seconds when the battery power supply is less than 6.7 V.
