DTC C1013[A1] High / low Voltage Abnormality

1. DTC C1013[A1] description

The EPS motor control unit monitors whether the battery power supply voltage is within the normal range. If the EPS motor control unit detects a malfunction in the battery power supply voltage, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC C1013[A1]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

Any of the following conditions are met:

  • The EPS motor control unit detects that the battery power supply voltage is 8 V or less.
  • The EPS motor control unit detects that the battery power supply voltage is 17.5 V or more.

3. Action taken when DTC C1013[A1] sets

  • The steering system failure warning light illuminates.
  • The electric power steering assist control is stopped.
  • The lane departure prevention is deactivated.
  • The lane keep assist is deactivated.
  • The emergency lane keeping is deactivated.
