DTC B130E[12] Parking Aid System OFF Switch - Circuit Short to Battery (Parking Aid)

1. DTC B130E[12] description

The parking aid system OFF switch is installed to the center console. The parking aid system operation can be stopped by pushing the parking aid system OFF switch. If the parking aid system control unit detects a short to the power supply in the parking aid system OFF switch signal circuit, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC B130E[12]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition switch is ON.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The parking aid system control unit detects that the parking aid system OFF switch signal voltage is more than 6.5 V for 30 seconds or more.

3. Action taken when DTC B130E[12] sets

  • The master warning light illuminates.
  • The parking aid system OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • Current and past failures are set.
