1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch and wait for 30 seconds or more.
3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Parking aid system OFF switch check.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of parking aid system.
Refer to "233.Driver Assistance System 46D.Symptom(Parking Aid) intermittent conditions of parking aid system".
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Disconnect the parking aid system OFF switch harness connector (C82).
Refer to "LHD Parking Aid" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).
Refer to "RHD Parking Aid" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).
3) Turn ON the ignition switch and wait for 30 seconds or more.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool for DTC B130E[12] being set as a current failure. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Parking aid system OFF switch signal circuit inspection.
No
Replace the parking aid system OFF switch.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9C.Electrical Control, Entertainment parking aid system OFF switch installation".
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Disconnect the parking aid system control unit harness connector (C16).
3) Inspect the parking aid system OFF switch signal circuit between the parking aid system control unit (pin 16 of C16) and the parking aid system OFF switch (pin 2 of C82) for a short to the power supply circuit. Is the result normal?

Yes
=>Go to Parking aid system control unit replacement.
No
Repair the circuit as necessary.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
