DTC U0126[00] Steering Angle Sensor Signal Timeout (Radar Sensor (Right))

1. DTC U0126[00] description

The radar sensor (Right) communicates the control information with the steering angle sensor via the Chassis CAN communication circuit and radar sensor (Left). If the radar sensor (Right) cannot obtain the control information sent from the steering angle sensor, the DTC is set.

2. Condition for setting DTC U0126[00]

Condition for running the DTC

  • The ignition voltage is 10.0 to 16.0 V.
  • 5 seconds or more have passed with the ignition switch ON.
  • DTC U0055[88] is not set.

Condition for setting the DTC

  • The radar sensor (Right) detects that the control information sent from the steering angle sensor cannot be obtained.

3. Action taken when DTC U0126[00] sets

  • The BSM OFF indicator light illuminates.
  • All of the functions are deactivated.
