DTC B1101[97] Surrounding Environment Deterioration of the Stereo Camera (Stereo Camera)

1. Stereo camera system check

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Stereo Camera) diagnostic system check-stereo camera".

2. Current DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Stereo camera and windshield inspection.

No

Ask the driver whether they are affected by heavy rain, strong sunlight, etc., causing a low visibility.

=>Go to Repair verification.

3. Stereo camera and windshield inspection

1) Inspect the stereo camera for the following.

  • Stereo camera installation position change
  • Dirt on the stereo camera lens

2) Inspect the windshield for the following.

  • Stickers, etc., on the windshield in front of the stereo camera lens
  • Dirt on the windshield (inside/outside)
  • Fog on the windshield

3) Are all of the results normal?

Yes

=>Go to Repair verification.

No

Clean the windshield (inside/outside) as necessary.

Note

  • When cleaning the windshield (inside), cover the stereo camera lens with plastic sheets, etc.

=>Go to Repair verification.

4. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
