DTC B1084[54] Electric Steering Lock Not Programmed (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Hi-version[Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Steering lock ECU programming

1) Perform programming of the immobilizer information in the steering lock ECU.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9J.Security and Locks steering lock setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Current DTC check.

3. Current DTC check

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Open and close the driver side door.

4) Turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

Replace the steering lock assembly.

Note

  • After replacing the steering lock assembly, programming must be performed.

No

4. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Open and close the driver side door.

4) Turn the ignition switch to ACC or ON.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
