1.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Sail garnish. (See SAIL GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(2)  Front beltline molding. (See FRONT BELTLINE MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
(3)  Front door garnish. (See FRONT DOOR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure, move it in the direction of the arrow to remove the protector.

3.  Insert a tape-wrapped flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure, move it in the direction of arrow (1) to detach the clip.

4.  Remove the front sash molding in the direction of the arrows in the order of (2), (3), (4) shown in the figure.
