FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) SHORT-CORD INSPECTION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT i-stop)].)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Cover (See FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Auto-dimming mirror (See AUTO-DIMMING MIRROR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Foward sensing camera (FSC) short-cord (See FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Verify that the continuity between the foward sensing camera (FSC) short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

•  If not as indicated in the table, replace the foward sensing camera (FSC) short-cord.
