REAR DIFFERENTIAL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Drain the rear differential oil into a container.

2.  Disconnect rear auto leveling sensor link lower side. (Vehicles with headlight auto leveling system) (See REAR AUTO LEVELING SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the main silencer and middle pipe. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 Turbo].)

4.  Remove the propeller shaft. (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the rear stabilizer. (See REAR STABILIZER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove the rear coil spring. (See REAR COIL SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Remove the rear trailing link component. (See REAR LATERAL LINK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

8.  Remove the rear drive shaft. (See REAR DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

9.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

10.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

11.  Add the specified rear differential oil. (See DIFFERENTIAL OIL REPLACEMENT.)

12.  Inspect the rear wheel alignment and adjust it if necessary. (See REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT.)
